Hidden treasure shows up at Memorabilia Room

A handmade quilt wall hanging that captures the spirit of Muncie Central High School is one of the most recent donations to the Alumni Association Memorabilia Room.

It was originally presented to Muncie Central Assistant Principal Stanley Landfair as a gift from the Class of 1958 in July 1978 at the class' 20th reunion.

The designers of the quilt were Barb Whaley and Vada Towles Goodspeed. These women – with help from other classmates – made the quilt.

The Alumni Association welcomes donations. When making donations, physical objects are needed more than paper items.

Delivering the quilt to the Memorabilia Room on August 20, 2022, were Jean and David Kistler, members of the Class of 1958 who still live in Muncie.
